Barrit Mejeri are using Desto cups from Nova-Pack for 2 types of delicious cream cheese in the Lidl brand “WH”.
The Desto cups consist of carton on the outside and a thin plastic inlet in monolayer PP on the inside.
This truly makes it a very environmental friendly packaging: By combining carton and plastics we reduce the plastics content with up to 50 % compared to cups produced in plastics only. In addition the carton and plastic inlet can easily be separated by the consumers for recycling.
In addition the carton part can be printed in a very high quality on the side bottom – and even on the inside !
